How to shoot film

Regular price £20.00 £0.00

Sunday 19th April, 12-2pm

For this afternoon session we will talk you through using a film camera and taking pictures with  35mm or 120mm negative film ahead of our film processing and printing workshops. You will have a choice of exploring Coventry on foot to shoot the images or using a simple studio set up at Print Manufactory, or a bit of both! For this session bringing along your own working film camera is ideal - this could be an SLR or a compact, but if you do not have one let us know and we can provide one for you to use. You will also need to bring along the correct film for your camera, and it will need to be black and white film if you wish to process and print at the Print MF studio.

If you are using a 35mm camera we recommend Ilford HP5 which can be found here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ilford-HP5-400asa-35mm-exp/dp/B00009V3CG/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=ilford+hp5&qid=1583917541&sr=8-2

120mm: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ilford-HAR1629017-Plus-Black-White/dp/B00005MEAI/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=ilford+hp5+120mm&qid=1583918116&sr=8-4
